Are Birthday Party Favors Important To Your Childs Party?

By Melissa Fishman

What About The Cost?

If you are having a birthday party for your child, you should consider several things. First, are the party favors for your childs friends or will they go to the adults that attend? If they are for the adults, consider using a small statue, a picture frame with your childs picture in it. Or, consider a candle with a cute theme. Giving a gift to your adult party goers should be done. You can give them something that is inexpensive, especially when you purchase them in bulk form. If you want to spend more, go ahead.

On the other hand, if you are giving a party favor to your childs friends, then you have to go with all fun things. A little goody bag is ideal filled with kid safe things. Dont go over board on the candy but many party outlets will provide very small toys, cute games and lots of fun stuff that you can include. The kids will enjoy getting a gift from your child too.

If you are having a small get together with your close family you may not need a party favor. If you are throwing a memorable party, then consider one. This would be for their first birthday or possibly their fifth. If you are giving a large party where there will be many people coming, then a party favor no matter what the age is essential, at least for proper manners.

Top 10 Most Popular Kid Birthday Party Ideas

By Dee Schrock

Ive picked out the most popular party themes for boys and girls, sure to make your planning much easier!

1. Barbie Birthday Party

Barbie, girls best friend, inspired young girls for decades. She and her friends are still the life of the party even today!

2. Batman Birthday Party

Batman lives! As long as he continues in the hearts of those little caped crusaders and the parties go on and on, he never dies. Batman is eternal–and so are his parties - a Batman and Robin party is a real 'smash' for little caped crusaders who like excitement and fun.

3. Care Bear Party

Whether it is Cheer Bear or Bedtime bear, the Care Bears are always a wonderful addition to any childs birthday party, especially girls. They are bright, lovable, fun, and cheerful, and always leave children and adults happy.

4. Birthday Construction Party

The obvious decorative eye-catcher is having your home strung in 'caution' tape, along with flashing safety lights. This will add a dramatic effect and will be a fun setting for children to play. The boys can wear their hard hats as they play in the construction site you have created.

5. Disney Princess Party

No decoration is more elegant for a Disney Princess birthday party than a grand castle. Swirls of light-colored streamers adorn the grand ballroom. You can have the basement made up to look like the inside of a medieval castle with painted wooden or cardboard sets.

6. Dora the Explorer Party

Dora the Explorer is a girl who loves to search, discover, and learn about and share with others. A Dora the Explorer party, then, should be fun as well as cultural and educational.

7. Hello Kitty Party

Hello Kitty likes her tea parties, her scrumptious sweets, and her crafts. At a Hello Kitty party, you can have plenty of all three!

8. Incredibles Party

The Incredibles were a super hero family forced out of action, but now theyre back! But it isnt what they thought it would be. A whole new kind of adventure begins! An Incredibles party can be just as on-the-edge as the story. Let the excitement fly!

9. Spider Man Party

Spiderman spins a web and has captured the imagination of people for decades. He still keeps kids cheering even today. A Spiderman party will keep the kids entranced right from the get-go!

10. Spongebob Party

The decorations for a SpongeBob party should follow SpongeBobs locale, namely the town of Bikini Bottom. Underwater motifs and imagery will place the kids in SpongeBobs world, if even only for a couple of hours.

I hope these ideas helped spark some ideas for your upcoming kids birthday party. Have a sensational celebration!

Planning the Budget for Your Childs Birthday Party

By nisa ch

1. Ask yourself how much you can afford. You should anticipate all the expenses that may arise while planning for the party. Be sure that you can afford all the expenses.

2. You need to know the cost for a certain venue where you will hold the party. There are places that do not cost that much and you can consider them for the party. You may want to hold your party at your own home but make sure that it can accommodate all your guests.

3. You can serve many cheap foods for the party. This can help you save more money. You can include many cheaper alternatives in the menu like pastas, hotdogs and sandwiches. You also have the option to the food preparation yourself rather than getting the services of a caterer.

4. You can buy all the prizes and giveaways from many discount stores. Small tokens do well in birthday parties. They do not have to be expensive since children are not after the price of the prizes they will get.

5. Invitations can be done personally, by phone or e-mail rather than mailing a birthday invitation.

6. There are also other alternatives for celebrating your childs birthday. You can consider bringing you child and his friends in the parks, circus and even in the malls. They will surely enjoy it and you do not have to worry of damaging your household budget.

1st Birthday Party Planning

By Mrs. Party… Gail Leino

For invitations, pick a theme you would like to use for the party. Winnie the Pooh is a very popular choice for younger children. Or you could pick something that is cute and whimsical like a ladybug or a butterfly theme. Bring the 1st birthday party back to nature by setting the party up outside or at a park. Make sure to buy lots of film and break out the video camera for this memorable occasion.

Save all of the cards you receive from guests and place them in a book along with the pictures. Your little one will enjoy being able to look back at their first birthday and see all of the people who were there to witness the first fistfuls of cake.

Even though your child is too young to do some of the party games, you can still provide things to do for your guests. Plan on getting a pull string piñata for your childs first birthday party that will match your theme. A one year old child can handle this easy to do party game. Only use toys you would allow a one year old child to have as treasures for the piñata. Leave out small pieces of candy or small toys. Or you might have guests who are old enough to enjoy a hearty piñata. In which case, there would be nothing wrong with supplying two piñatas. By keeping smaller children away from this activity, older children can have their fun and be rewarded with tasty treats.'
